This New Cancun Mall Claims to Be The largest Shopping Experience in Latin America
The brand new Grand Outlet Riviera Maya is a brand-new shopping center located only a 20-minute drive from Cancun. It opened its doors in its first stage in August 2023 and it’s now almost fully operational but with amazing new projects coming up.
Presently, GO Outlet Riviera Maya is welcoming around 160 thousand visitors per month on average and growing, as they are adding more and more sensational activities, eateries, and shops. This is what General Manager Vladimir Maylen revealed to La Jornada Maya.
Spanning a total space of 90,000m², including contributions from GICSA’s business partner, the retail and entertainment complex will boast a gross leasable area of 58,013m².
It is set to accommodate 185 stores and provide around 3,000 parking spots.

For now, Rock and Race operations began at the end of January, a new experience that consists of car drag races, with 500 horsepower cars, so the speed they take is spectacular, of course in total safety, says Vladimir Maylen in the interview with La Jornada Maya.
Also coming up next Hello Kitty Cafe store and a spectacular ice rink, both expected to be a succesful addition.
Although the Outlet is already a proven success, it’s only at 50 percent of its potential and it’s growing at a fast pace as new things continue to be added, with more new openings, more stores, and a lot of retail, all very good products that will contribute to establish this incredible project as one of the biggest and greatest Outlets in Latin America.
And as part of the strategy to raise the public’s interest, they will continue to have new kinds of entertainment, live music with violinists, and saxophonists, and always keep the element of surprise to attract more visitors.
It’s been also announced that they will have something special for February 14, with special activations and activities that allow them to generate a unique experience for visitors.
