Cancun is the ultimate spring break spot. What sandy beaches, amazing restaurants, and world-famous nightlife- what else do you need? For many, the decision to head to Cancun for spring break is easy, the hard part is figuring out which is the best all-inclusive spring break resort.

I am here to help. I live in Cancun and I have been working in the hotel industry for quite some time. I know most of the hotels in Cancun and in this post, I will tell you which ones are considered the best for the spring break season.

1. Moon Palace Cancun – All Inclusive

Located just south of the Cancun airport on the Riviera Maya between Cancun and Puerto Morelos, the Moon Palace Cancun has it all when it comes to resorts.

This spacious resort has amazing facilities with free WIFI, 7 swimming pools, a garden, lounges, and a kids’ club! The resort is located on a spacious and beautiful stretch of white sandy beach.

At the Moon Palace, there are several different rooms to choose from including a Honey Moon Suit, swim-up suites with direct access to a pool, as well as garden or ocean view suites. All rooms have a desk, coffee machine, minibar, and flatscreen TV.

With 20 different restaurants on-site it is hard to decide what to eat, and you can choose between Mexican, Asian, and Brazilian restaurants. There is also a grill and seafood restaurant. The resort can accommodate people with dietary restrictions, and you can request vegan, vegetarian, or dairy-free food options.

There is plenty to do at the resort for fun including billiards, ping pong, mini-golf, bicycle rentals, and a watersports facility.

At night you can check out the nightclub with a DJ and enjoy evening entertainment of live music and shows.

There is a fitness and wellness center with personal trainers and yoga classes as well as spa facilities including a sauna. Guests who stayed here loved the endless amenities and helpful staff!

2. Atelier Playa Mujeres 

The Atelier Playa Mujeres is an adult-only all-inclusive located in the trendy Playa Mujeres area which is just a few miles north of downtown Cancun. This area boasts relaxing, long sandy beaches and great views of turquoise water.

Guests who stay at the resort have access to a private beach area, as well as heated outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, and hot tubs.

The resort offers guests a delicious breakfast buffet and there are a total of 9 restaurants on site. You can choose from Mexican, American, Italian, and Asian options as well as a steakhouse and seafood restaurant.

There are several different suites at the Atelier to choose from including ocean-view rooms, a rooftop suite, and rooms with swim-out options. All the rooms at the resort have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a seating area.

The Playa Mujeres area is known for great cycling and the resort offers plenty of activities to keep you busy, including bike tours, aerobics, and a watersports facility. At night you can attend the theme dinner parties, enjoy the live music and entertainment, and go to the onsite nightclub with a DJ.

There is a fitness and wellness center at the resort that has spa facilities including a steam room and massages. You can also treat yourself to beauty services such as a facial, manicure, or pedicure, and hair and makeup styling.

Guests who stayed here were blown away by the quality of the restaurants and the service. 

3. Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun – All Inclusive  

The Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun is located in the southern part of the Cancun hotel zone at kilometer 16.5. The resort offers guests amazing views of the ocean as well as the Nichupte Lagoon.

The resort is composed of three main buildings each with a large thatched roof palapa. There is a large outdoor swimming pool, or you can spend your day lounging on the beach.

The Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun offers many activities to keep you busy including live music, cooking classes, a watersports facility, and table tennis, and if you are traveling with children you can take advantage of the kids club and games room. There is plenty of evening entertainment including karaoke and a nightclub with a DJ.

The Fiesta Americana has several different food choices including pizza, sushi, a grill, and a cocktail lounge. There are also Thai, Italian, and Mexican restaurants.

There are several different rooms to choose from at the resort including garden view, lagoon view, and ocean view suites. All rooms have a safe, minibar, flatscreen TV, and private bathroom. There are also suites with private plunge pools, suites with living rooms, and family rooms.

The resort has a fitness center that offers yoga and exercise classes as well as a spa that offers massages, facials, and beauty treatments.

Guests who stayed at the Fiesta Americana loved the different food selections and the helpful staff. 

4. Grand Park Royal Cancun – All Inclusive

The Grand Park Royal Cancun is conveniently located in the heart of the Cancun hotel zone at kilometer 10.5. It is close to the party center as well as shopping malls.

The Grand Park Royal Cancun sits on an amazing 500-meter stretch of white sandy beach with plenty of beachfront loungers and umbrellas for you to enjoy.

All rooms at the Grand Park Royal have ocean views, a balcony, a minibar, and a flat-screen TV. The resort offers standard suites, adult-only swim-up rooms, family rooms, and jacuzzi suites with a jetted tub.

The resort has several different dining options including a buffet that serves a variety of international cuisine, as well as restaurants that serve seafood, Mexican, Italian, and Asian cuisine.

The resort has a wellness center and guests can enjoy outdoor massages, and there is a spa where you can relax in the sauna, get a body wrap, or take advantage of the beauty services. There is a fitness center that offers yoga classes for an additional cost.

The resort has bingo, live music performances, comedians, themed dinner nights, and a kids club.

Guests who stayed here loved that the resort had peaceful areas for relaxing, as well as areas with plenty of music and entertainment. 

5. Emporio Cancun – Optional All-Inclusive 

Emporio Cancun is located in the Cancun hotel zone near the Mayan Museum and Plaza Kukulkan. It is set on a great stretch of beach and offers guests ocean views as well as views of the Nichupte Lagoon.

All suites and rooms at the resort have tile floors, bright decor, and cable TV. Suites have a seating area, dining area, and kitchen. You can choose between standard rooms and suites, rooms with an ocean view, or adults-only swim-up rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, bicycle rental, and water sports facilities, and offers cooking classes. If you are traveling with children they can take advantage of the kids club, playground, and games room. The resort has evening entertainment, live music, and karaoke.

There are three restaurants at the resort offering Mexican, Italian, and international cuisine.

There is an onsite fitness center and spa. Guests who stayed here loved that there were plenty of choices of where to spend their time between the pool, beach, and beautifully maintained common areas. 

6. Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort – All Inclusive Adults Only 

If you are traveling in an adults-only group, the Secrets Playa Mujeres all-inclusive is a great option for you! It is located on a great stretch of beach at Playa Mujeres, just north of downtown Cancun.

The area is peaceful, with a secluded beach, and it is conveniently located near a golf course.

The resort has free WIFI, parking, 2 outdoor pools, and 4 hot tubs. All of the suites at the resort have a tablet with complete hotel information, a small seating area, a flat-screen TV, and a coffee maker.

There are several different suite options to choose from including rooms with garden or ocean views, suites with a private pool, and swim-out suites.

There are 9 different restaurants for you to choose from including a buffet, 5 a la carte restaurants that serve French, Italian, Asian, and Mexican cuisine as well as seafood and grill options.

There is a fitness center onsite that offers personal trainers, exercise classes, and yoga. The resort also has a full-service spa where you can treat yourself to all sorts of massages, a visit to the steam room, body wraps, and facials.

There is plenty to do at the resort to keep yourself busy including bingo, aerobics, live sports broadcasts, and live music. At night you can enjoy the movie screenings or visit the nightclub with a DJ.

Guests who stay here love the layout with a large pool area that directly connects to the beach, giving you plenty of space to relax. 

7. Turquoize at Hyatt Ziva Cancun 

Turquoize at Hyatt Ziva Cancun is located in the Cancun Hotel Zone near the party center and shopping malls. This luxury hotel in Cancun is adults-only and offers guests beachfront suites with upgraded amenities.

The beautifully designed suites have a living area and a balcony with a hot tub as well as bathrooms that offer ocean views. The resort offers all guests personalized butler and concierge services too!

The Turquoize at Hyatt Ziva has 8 restaurants for you to choose from including a romantic French restaurant, a steakhouse, and restaurants with Mexican and Italian cuisine. The restaurants at the resort can accommodate dietary restrictions.

There is plenty to do at the resort including kayaks, a water sports facility, table tennis, billiards, and tennis courts. There is evening entertainment including live music and themed dinner parties.

The Turquoize has a fitness center that offers classes as well as a full-service spa where you can treat yourself to a massage, body wrap, or facial, or visit the steam room and sauna. There are also beauty services such as makeup, hair styling, and manicures and pedicures available.

8. Hard Rock Hotel Cancun 

If you want to enjoy a large resort, full of great amenities, and a party atmosphere, check out the Hard Rock Hotel. The Hard Rock Hotel is located in the Cancun hotel zone at kilometer 14.5, not far from Plaza Kukulkan.

The resort sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and is a place where you can find endless entertainment, as well as places to relax.

Rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel all feature free music streaming services, WIFI, and a fully stocked minibar. You can choose between lagoon or ocean view rooms and the resort has family rooms available. There are two outdoor pools for guests to enjoy.

The resort hosts live music performances and there is evening entertainment and karaoke.

You can also spend your time playing table tennis, or tennis, or visit the games room.

The Hard Rock Hotel is a family and pet-friendly hotel and has a kids’ club, outdoor playing equipment, and babysitting services.

There are 5 restaurants on-site including a steakhouse, and restaurants that specialize in pizza, Mexican food, Italian, and Asian food. 

9. Haven Riviera Cancun 

The Haven Riviera Cancun is an adults-only all-inclusive located just south of Cancun on the Riviera Maya. The Haven sits on a secluded stretch of white sandy beach.

Guests who stay here can choose between garden view, partial ocean view, or ocean view rooms.

The resort offers several suites to choose from, including swim-out rooms with a semi-private pool and rooms with jacuzzis. All rooms at the resort have air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a coffee maker. Some rooms have a kitchenette that has a refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop.

There is a breakfast buffet every morning as well as continental options. The resort has 5 on-site restaurants where you can choose between Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, and a steakhouse.

For people who want to get off the resort and explore, it is conveniently located between downtown and the Cancun party center.

Suites at the Temptation Cancun Resort have private balconies or terraces that give you either an ocean or garden view. All rooms have coffee makers, satellite TV, and WIFI, and the suites have hot tubs.

The resort has a great party atmosphere with live music, daily entertainment, and sensual entertainment at night as well as a nightclub with a DJ.

When you stay there you can relax at the two outdoor pools, and get a massage at the full-service spa that also offers facials, body treatments, and beauty services.

11. Dreams Sands Cancun 

The Dreams Sands Cancun is located at kilometer 8.5 in the Cancun hotel zone. The resort sits on a calm stretch of white sandy beach.

The rooms offer guests amazing views of the ocean and Isla Mujeres, and there are seven rooms to choose from.

You can pick king or double rooms with partial or complete ocean views, or treat yourself to a premium oceanfront room or the adults-only honeymoon suite with a plunge pool. All rooms have spacious bathrooms and a daily-stocked minibar.

The resort has two outdoor swimming pools, a watersports facility, and outdoor hot tubs. If you are traveling with children they will enjoy the Explorer’s Club and playground, plus the resort offers babysitting services for an extra charge.

All rooms have flatscreen TVs, fully stocked mini bars, coffee makers, and bathrobes. You can choose between ocean or lagoon-view rooms.

There are different suites, including a governor’s suite with jetted tub, and a two-bedroom presidential suite.

The resort has a state-of-the-art gym where you can take yoga or pilates classes and a full-service spa. There you can treat yourself to a massage or visit the steam room.
